Today a friend contacted me to solve a problem with his Mambo installation. While there was no problem logging into the frontend, he could not log in to his administration panel. Suddenly the script produced "Premature end of script headers" - messages.
After playing around with rights a first solution was disabling GZip in administrator/index2.php, which let me in. But there was still a problem which pointed me to the Mamboforge Modul trying to get feeds from a server that is not available. After this module was unpublished the admin area worked like a charm. |

Let your users write HTML |
|

Recently I discovered a very useful PHP-library on the net, which allows you and your users to write HTML anywhere you allow input. Dont worry about XSS or something like evil attacks against your site. Just filter any input with HTML Purifier for PHP and you are free of care. |

How to display all positions of your template? Call your site with ?tp=1 and you will see.
To disable this view, you have to edit includes/frontend.php

Web developement is a work in progress. I have no problems working on live sites, testing things on live sites as far as I know what I'm doing. Currently this site is changing a few things. You can see a new template with original header image, shame on me, I must apologize, I'm not a designer. I will create a new one maybe tomorrow with my slogan: Leagueman, makes your site playing first league :-)
Maybe you can help out? |

I just installed com_ponygallery to manage some kind of documentation.
If you want to provide a screenshot, please send me pictures with a width of 800px, even if the screen is an error, I will describe and fix it.
Furthermore this tool could be used to discuss usability, rate and comment every screen. Thanks for your support! |

This weekend I updated the site of the german icehockey club TEV Miesbach with Joomla 1.0.12 and installed com_leagueman and com_jbulletin. I accepted the challenge to modify the ranking of the league as it is a very special mode this season com_leagueman is not able to manage by default.
In particular 19 teams diveded into 2 groups playing against each other have to be arranged in 2 different league tables. With a special extension com_leagueman can handle it now, so this feature is unique in this special league.

I setup a demo site, so you can see my extensions in action. If you want to see the special look of your template, send it to joomlabasic at gmail.com.

Inspired by feedburner.com - this is a very simple version of a login module that just links to the login or registration form or just logs you out without any confirmation.
You can get it in my download section. |

I created a new section here on this site, because I m interested in where you come from - would be cool to know :-) Therefore you have to sign in, go here, klick on the map -> save and done! Unfortunately this works in Firefox only (didnt try other browsers than IE6). |
